Paris Hilton went shopping for some DVDs at around 10:30PM, when she was stopped by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for speeding and driving without headlights. Hilton’s publicist, Elliot Mintz, says she was exiting the parking garage which “is brightly lit so she had not noticed that her headlights were not activated.” As she drove a few blocks, she was stopped by the police. Deputies say that Hilton was speeding down Sunset Blvd. without headlights. She was pulled over and deputies discovered she was driving with a suspended license. She was given a ticket for driving on a suspended license but later released. Mintz says, “When she called me, she asked if her license was suspended. If that’s the case, she and I are unaware of it.” Hilton’s 2007 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible was impounded and towed away. Hilton violated the terms of her probation when she was arrested for driving on a suspended license, and could spend up to 90 days in jail as a result. She was arrested on September 7th for DUI in Hollywood. In January, she pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving. She was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in related fines. As a result, the DMV also suspended her license, and a judge placed her on 36 months probation, with one major condition being: to “obey all laws.”

A source said: “It was a bombshell for ABC. Getting a Lady who was married to a Beatle was almost like signing royalty to them. They are upset they had to drop the title.”Mills is entitled to call herself Lady until the couple’s divorce is finalized. The source added: “Legally, Paul can’t stop Heather from using his name. She is entitled to call herself Lady until the day they divorce.”"But Heather fears if she used Paul’s name to earn money, he could claim that half of it was thanks to him.”

Helen Mirren has denied reports she’s been invited to visit Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in the wake of her success in the movie ‘The Queen.’ Oscar-winner Mirren was rumored to have been asked to lunch with the Queen along with screenwriter Peter Morgan and director Stephen Frears, who also both received Academy Award nominations. But Mirren insists the invitation was a media myth. She says, “No, not a true story. Not a true story. We will never hear a response from the Palace, I don’t think. And if we did, I wouldn’t tell you anyway.” In fact, Mirren says she is relieved not to have received an invitation to visit the woman she portrayed, as she would be stuck for words. She adds, “I have thought about that. You know, what would I do? I don’t think I could handle that. No. ‘Thank you, Ma’am, for being who you are, and allowing me to be you.’ I mean what do you say? Very, very difficult.”

A Florida court of appeals will hear the case as to where Anna Nicole Smith’s body is to be buried, with oral arguments to be presented Wednesday morning. At 9:30 AM, Justices Barry Stone, Mark Polen and George Shahood of the Fourth District Court of Appeals will hear 20 minutes of arguments from lawyers for Virgie Arthur, who is seeking to bury Anna’s body in Texas, and 10 minutes each from attorneys for Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead, both of whom are seeking to have Smith’s remains buried in the Bahamas. Richard Milstein has also filed his appeal asking the court to uphold Judge Seidlin’s ruling give him custody of Smith’s body on behalf of her baby daughter.

The purported owners of the house in which Howard K. Stern is living are putting the property on the market for a $10 million.’Horizons,’ the Bahamian oceanfront estate in which Anna Nicole Smith lived, was purchased back in October by South Carolina real estate mogul G. Ben Thompson for $950,000. Smith previously claimed Thompson gave her the money to buy the mansion and it was a gift. An attorney’s letter written to Thompson and his son-in-law, S. Ford Shelley, states that they have “a good and marketable title to that property, ” and there is, “a duly executed and stamped conveyance in your favor.” Thompson and Shelly are currently interviewing brokerage firms worldwide, firms that are interested in winning the listing. It appears Thompson and Shelly have a right to sell the property, which may have skyrocketed in value because of the incredible publicity surrounding the Smith saga. Sources say Stern himself believes the property is worth $10 million.

A close friend of ‘American Idol’ semi-finalist Antonella Barba says that she is not the subject of some graphically sexual pictures that were posted on the Internet last week. The pictures include one of four women posing topless at the beach, their hands covering their breasts, and others of a woman engaged in a sexual act. The postings were anonymous. Barba’s best friend, Amanda Coluccio, with whom she auditioned said that the less graphic photos are of Barba, but denied she is pictured in the pornographic ones.”The really bad ones aren’t her. She’s never had acrylic nail tips, like the woman in the photo, in her life.” Her friends and family are saving their condemnation for whomever posted the pictures online.Another friend said making the photos public was a gross invasion of privacy, but one that has become a fact of life in the digital age.”Everyone has incriminating photos of one sort or another, and you never know when it’s going to turn around and bite you,” she said. “It’s a shame you can’t just live your life and not have to worry about something like this becoming public.”"It’s a real wake-up call for a lot of people,” said Dave Della who runs a web site that picks what it considers the worst ‘American Idol’ contestants.”With the advent of MySpace and Facebook, people put photos up on the Internet and have to realize that someone you don’t even know can grab these photos that you think are only going to be seen by your friends, and have them on every Web site in the world within 10 minutes.”Terza’s site posted photos that he claims confirms the woman engaged in a sexual act is not Barba. Close-ups of the right ear of the woman in the sex photo, and a photo known to be of Barba, show differently shaped ears and Barba has different beauty marks.

A publicist for fashion company Escada has inadvertently confirmed actress Naomi Watts is pregnant with her first child. Watts has refused to speak about rumors she is expecting, despite sporting a new fuller figure. But a representative for Escada, who designed Watt’s Oscar gown, sent out a press release saying, “The Escada gown set off her most precious new asset, the baby she is expecting with longtime boyfriend Liev Schreiber.” The couple has long said that they would love to start a family, but have not officially confirmed Watts’ pregnancy.

The company that owns Kim Kardashian and Ray-J’s controversial sex tape has agreed to halt distribution of the video, for now. In a statement, Vivid Entertainment says that ‘Kim Superstar’ will go on “temporary hold,” while they attempt to work things out with Kardashian in person. “We feel that it is most important that we have an opportunity to meet with Ms. Kardashian as soon as possible. We have reached out to her to try and set up a meeting.” Vivid claims they purchased the tape from a third party for a $1 million, and firmly believe that they have a “legal right to distribute the video.”
