Movie icon Elizabeth Taylor has exposed her first husband, Conrad Hilton JR, as a “cruel” drunk in a new magazine interview.Taylor was a teenager when she exchanged vows with the hotel heir in 1950 and was so smitten with the him that she studied Catholicism to be his wife. But she admits she never took the marriage seriously enough and divorced Hilton, who is the uncle of Paris and Nicky Hilton’s father, nine months later, after discovering he had a drinking problem. In a candid new expose with Interview editor Ingrid Sischy, Taylor recalls, “When I got a divorce, I never told the court why, but he was cruel. When he drank it all came out, and I hadn’t seen that before because he was on the wagon the eight months we were engaged. I didn’t have a clue. But I thought, ‘This isn’t why God put me on earth.’” Taylor, who married another seven times, had an inkling her first marriage wouldn’t work out as she stood before the archbishop on her big day. She said, “When I had to swear in front of the archbishop to be a good wife and all that stuff, I had my fingers crossed behind my back because I didn’t know if I could be a good wife.”

Madonna will not face prosecution for blasphemy in the Netherlands over imagery she used in two concerts in Amsterdam last year.She was seen to kneel and take off a crown of thorns against the backdrop of a crucifix, prompting calls from members of the Protestant SGP party for charges to be brought against her. But a spokesperson for Amsterdam’s prosecutor’s office says, “The pop singer Madonna will not be prosecuted for blasphemy and insulting faith. The prosecutor’s office believes that through her show, the singer on all the evidence tried to express her frustrations about certain situations in the world, it is not a question of contempt for God. Furthermore, Madonna did not discredit Christians as a group.”

After Donald Trump almost made Miss USA Tara Conner turn in her tiara over her hard-partying ways, the two have deemed it inappropriate for her to pose nude. A million dollars isn’t enough to get the recently rehabbed beauty queen Conner to bare all for Playboy. Trump and Conner negotiated with Playboy but ultimately turned down the magazine’s offer for her to pose nude, Trump’s office confirmed. The controversial Miss USA made headlines in December when pageant boss Trump almost made her turn in her tiara over her hard-partying ways, then relented on the condition that she seek treatment. Conner recently completed a stint in a Pennsylvania rehabilitation facility. Earlier this month, Trump announced that Playboy was considering Conner for its cover and that he was still considering the offer. Trump also said that if Conner did pose, it would be “Playboy-lite”, or not entirely nude.But now negotiations have ended. “She just didn’t feel it was appropriate. She will not be doing Playboy,” said Trump spokeswoman Rhona Graff. Conner is expected to discuss the Playboy offer during an upcoming live interview with Matt Lauer on NBC’s ‘Today’ show. Miss Nevada Katie Rees, who lost her crown over raunchy photos showing her semi-nude and kissing other women would welcome an offer from Playboy. She said she is looking to cash in on the scandal.”I’m cashing in on my experience, trying to make the most of it,” Rees, told the TV show ‘Extra’ recently. As for Conner being offered a cool million to pose for Playboy, Rees laughed, “A million! I wasn’t offered a million dollars. I’m going to hold out.”

Black civil rights leaders in Los Angeles claim the California Highway Patrol has made Brandy “a political trophy.” The Los Angeles City Attorney is deciding whether to file misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges against Brandy, whose Land Rover slammed into a Toyota on the 405 Freeway killing the driver. The photojournalist fighting Anna Nicole Smith for paternity of her baby daughter claims he was stunned when she dumped him and flew off to the Bahamas, because he felt sure they were committed to each other. Larry Birkhead claims Smith was talking about marrying him and the couple were making big plans to become parents when he suddenly discovered she no longer wanted him to be a part of her life. Birkhead says, “One day I’m in a store buying maternity clothes and helping her while she’s sick. The night before she left, I bought her $200 worth of desserts and she ploughed through them in 20 minutes because she was having cravings.”"I enjoyed it. I liked helping her. I felt like we were actually getting somewhere at that point. We were both happy. We talked about, you know, the baby. You know, every night she’d make me sing songs to her, the baby, in the belly before she went to sleep. I tried to get her out of her pain and discomfort. And I did everything I could.” Birkhead launched a paternity suit against Smith and her new partner, Howard K. Stern, last year, and has so far spent $300,000 in legal fees trying to force Smith to agree to a DNA test on the baby.A test deadline came and went last week as Smith and her legal team demanded a delay. The paternity case will return to court next month.

Sources have confirmed that the family of the woman killed in a car crash involving Brandy has just filed suit against her for wrongful death. The parents of Awatef Aboudihaj, killed in a car crash involving Brandy are suing the singer for $50 million. The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Lawyers for the family of the deceased claim, “Defendant Brandy Norwood was driving recklessly in the freeway when her car collided with Awatif Aboudihaj’s car.” The $50 million lawsuit seeks both compensatory and punitive damages. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles City Attorney is considering the CHP’s recommendation to criminally charge Brandy with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
